- 2008: The
Ballbarians
are
founded
by
Guy
Cooper.
- September 2009: The Ballbarians
become a reality and take the field for the first time! Guy Cooper, the
first kickball captain & founder,
starts up the Ballbarians. We start it off by having both a
Monday & Friday kickball team at the same time.
- January 2010: The 1st
Ballbarians
dodgeball team is created. Captained by Arty Bouchez
- March 20, 2010: The Ballbarians
become the 2010 WASA Golden Wrench Dodgeball Tournament Champions!
- April 2010: The Ballbarians
start the Spring 2010 kickball season in WASA.
- July 2010: The Ballbarians play
in the Summer 2010 kickball season in WASA having both a Littleton
& Westminster, CO team.
- July 31, 2010: The Ballbarians
playing in their first WASApoolza at Invesco Field at Mile High Stadium
- September 2010: The Ballbarians
start playing kickball for the Fall 2010 season in WASA
- September 18, 2010: Our first
attempt at "Cornholing". 1st Annual Cajun Classic Cornhole tournament!
Playing for the benefit of Sports for a Cause.
- September 25, 2010: We
participated in the Make-A-Wish kickball tournament at Dick's
Sporting
Goods Park. We made it into the quarterfinals.
- January

2011:
Our First Wiffleball team! Our first league in the
Catholic Young Adult Sports league. Looking forward to playing in
upcoming leagues.
- January
18,
2011:
Three! Count them 3! Dodgeball teams at the same time in
the Winter 2011 WASA league.
- February
27,
2011:
The Wiffleball team places 3rd place in the 2011 CYAS
league.
- March
19, 2011: The 3 dodgeball teams play in the 2011 WASA Golden
Wrench Dodgeball Tournament. The Killer Bs team came in 3rd place!
- March
27, 2011: We particpated at the Gladiator Fusion Arena X-treme
Challenge.
- April
13, 2011: Kickball season starts for the teams in the Spring
2011 WASA leagues.
- June
18, 2011: The kickball teams play in the Spring 2011 WASA
Golden Keg Tournament.
- June
26, 2011: The first Ultimate Frisbee team starts play in the
2011 CYAS league.
- July
6, 2011: Only one kickball team, Westminster, playing in the
Summer 2011 WASA league.

14, 2011: The volleyball teams starts play in the 2011 CYAS
league.

16, 2011: The Ballbarians play in WASApalooza 2011!

14, 2011: The Ultimate Frisbee team places 2nd in the 2011 CYAS
league.

The Ballbarians play in the first ever CYAS F3 (Game
Day) event and were crowned champions of the day!

Keg Kickball tournament.

The dodgeball team plays in the 2011 WASA Fall
league. So happy to have a WASA Fall dodgeball league!

The dodgeball team wins the 2011 CYAS Dodgeball
league. First team to go undefeated in that league!

The wiffleball team starts play in the 2012 CYAS
league!

The Westminster dodgeball team starts play in the
2012 WASA league!

The Ballbarians are the 2012 CYAS Wiffleball
Champions! We went undefeated all season!

6, 2012: The dodgeball team gets to the semi-finals in the 2012
WASA Golden Wrench Dodgeball Tournament.
- April
9, 2012: The Littleton & Westminster kickball teams start
the WASA 2012 Spring leagues.
- May 3,
2012: The volleyball team gets started for the 2012 CYAS Season
#1 league.
- June
13, 2012: We've expanded out of the Denver area, even out of the
Colorado area, all the way to Alaska with a kickball team there.
- June
14, 2012: The volleyball team took 4th place in the CYAS Season
#1 2012 league.
- June
16, 2012: Both the Littleton & Westminster kickball teams
compete in the WASA Spring 2012 kickball tournament. Littleton
lost both their games and Westminster went 1-1. Both teams played
well and kept up with teams that had much better records then them.
- June
21, 2012: The volleyball team starts in the "competitive"
league
in the first ever CYAS competitive volleyball league. We were
only
put there because of our record in the first season of the year.
- June
23, 2012: The Ballbarians play in their first CYAS Mini-Golf
tournament. Congrats to Amy Chavez in being the top female golfer!
- July
9, 2012: The Littleton & Westminster kickball teams starts
play in the Summer 2012 WASA leagues.
- August
6 & 8, 2012: Our first pizza night fundraisers.
Thanks to all that joined in the fun & helped rasie some "dough".
- August
13, 2012: The Littleton kickball team placed 2nd in the summer
league. The best ever that team has done.
- August
15, 2012: The Westminster kickball team placed 3rd in the
summer league. The best ever that team has done.

The Westminster team starts up the Fall 2012 WASA
kickball league.

2012: The Littleton kickball teams starts play in the Fall
2012 WASA kickball league.

We form our first basketball team to play in the Fall
2012 CYAS basketball league.

2012: The Littleton & Westminster kickball teams play in
the Fall 2012 WASA Golden Keg Kickball Tournament. Littleton lost
both their opening round games. Westminster won both of theirs
but then had to play a tie-breaker game and once again got bitten by
it! We have a feeling we will break through soon!

2012: Dodgeball starts for the Westminster team in the Fall
2012 WASA league.

Westminster team.

3, 2013: The wiffleball team plays in the leauge chamiponship
for the 2013 CYAS league and comes up just short! We did end up
in 2nd place though.
- March 30, 2013: The
dodgeball team plays in the 2013 WASA Golden Wrench tournament but alas
just couldn't advance deep into the tournament.
- April 8, 2013: The
Littleton kickball team starts on the Spring 2013 season on cold &
windy night.
- April 26-27, 2013: The
basketball team plays in the first CYAS Basketball tournament and
places 3rd!
- May 8, 2013: The
Westminster kickball team FINALLY gets to start the season after 4
weeks of weather issues. Absolutely crazy!
- May 9, 2013: The
volleyball team gets started in the Summer 2013 CYAS season "1" league.
- June
20, 2013: The volleyball team plays in the "season 1"
tournament
CYAS league. Didn't pull off the win however we kept it close.
Great after a tough season.
- June
22, 2013: Both the Littleton & Westminster kickball
teams combine forces for the Spring 2013 WASA Golden Keg Kickball
tournament. We went 2-1 in the first round but that wasn't good
enough to move into the next round.
- July
11, 2013: The Westminster kickball team attempted to
start our Summer 2013 season of kickball but unfortunately the field's
lighting system wasn't opperational.
- September 4, 2013: The
Westminster
kickball team gets play started in the Fall 2013 WASA league.
- September 6, 2013: The
Littleton kickball team gets play started in the Fall 2013 WASA league.
- October

2013:
The Wiffleball team gets started in the Fall
2013 CYAS league by wining both their games in their doubleheader!
- November
2,
2013:
Both kickball teams (Littleton &
Westminster) play in the Fall 2013 WASA Golden Keg tournament both
going 1-2 in the Round Robin round. Their played their heart out
but just couldn't push into the next round; soon, real soon.
- November 6, 2013: The
Westminster Ballbarians dodgeball team get things started in the Fall
2013 WASA league.
- January 22, 2014: The
Ballbarians start the Winter 2014 Westminster WASA dodgeball league.
- March 29, 2014: The
dodgeball participates in the Winter 2014 WASA Golden Wrench dodgeball
tournament. We won the first game & lost the second game
losing to the eventual champions.
- April 16, 2014: The
Ballbarians get started in the Spring 2014 WASA Westminster kickball
league.
- May 1, 2014: We started
in the "Season 1" CYAS Volleyball league.
- June 14, 2014: The
Ballbarians participate in WASApalooza 2014
- June 26, 2014: The
volleyball team get started in the "Season 2" CYAS Volleyball league.
- June 28, 2014: The
kickball team participate in the Spring 2014 WASA Golden Keg tournament
with a record of 1-1.
- July 23, 2014: The
Ballbarians make WASA history fielding NOT 1, NOT 2, BUT
THREE kickball teams all in the
same league!
- October 11, 2014: All 3
kickball teams particpate in the WASA Golden Keg tournament. Team
Bighorn played hard but didn't win any of their round robin
games. The Westminster team went 1-1. Blue & Black
Attack won their group and made it to the quarter-finals!
- October 26, 2014: The
wiffleball team started their league in the CYAS league and it ended in
a tie! Very unusal.
- November 11, 2014: The
dodgball team stared thier league in the WASA league.
- December 14, 2014: The
wiffleball team placed 3rd in the CYAS wiffleball league!
- January 4, 2015: The
basketball team started their season with CYAS.
- February 21, 2015: The
basketball team is being forced to change leagues for the tournament
and offically announced as the 2015 CYAS Causual Basketball LEAGUE
Champions!
- March 1, 2015: The
basketball team wins their playoff game making it to the semi-finals!
- May 18, 2015: We launched
our app!
- May 25, 2015: We
volunteered for the 2nd year in a row at the Bolder Boulder!
- July 1, 2015: The
kickball team started with Citywide Sports.
- July 2, 2015: The
volleyball team started their season with CYAS.
- September 9, 2015: The
fall season started for the kickball team with Citywide Sports.
- September 10, 2015: The
Ballbarians participate in their first Adventure Run!
- September 15, 2015: The
volleyball team starts of their fall season with CVC.
- September 24, 2015: The
Ballbarians participate in their 2nd Adventure Run!
- October 8, 2015: The
Ballbarians participate in their 3rd Adventure Run!
- October 18, 2015: The
wiffleball team started thier season with CYAS.
- October 25, 2015: The
kickball team played in their tournament.
- October 28, 2015: For the
first time in our existence we have 4 teams going on at the same time
in 4 different leagues!
- October 29, 2015: The
Westminster volleyball team started their season with MHSSC!
The Ballbarians are run on a tight budget and make
no real money on the
teams and things we do. We do as a labor of love and enjoy doing
it.
We however have some costs running this website, providing the gifts we
hand out, etc. So if you appreicate all the hard work & fun
we provide, and would
like to donate some money to the team we would greatly appreicate
